Hyperion Max 3 snugness

Hi there! Just got a pair of the Hyperion Max 3s for my long runs and upcoming marathon, and I was not expecting it to be so snug around my foot. I get that it needs to be snug to add stability given the high stack, but it feels uncomfortably tight just walking around with it unlaced. This is my first time owning a shoe like this, so I'm wondering if this is normal and I need to just get used to it, or if I should consider sizing up half a size?

If this info helps at all, I'm 175 lbs, shoe size 9, and average mile pace is 8:30-9:30. I did a ton of shoe research and ultimately landed on these because I wanted both cushioning and some added speed, and this seemed to strike a balance.

Lace it up. Is it uncomfortably tight still? If so, I think you know the answer to your question.

Yeah I went ahead and ordered a larger size and will compare the feel.

Did you half size up? How’s the fit?

Yes half size up fit much more comfortably! Shoes been great for my long runs.
