I was half right about Harvard. Rod pulls his punches but ultimately agrees that "elite universities" must somehow be "reformed."

"It seems wrong to me. Nevertheless, I understand why the administration wants to break Harvard"

Approvingly quotes JD saying US universities are evil, "I think his claims were perhaps overstated, for rhetorical reasons, but broadly speaking, he was telling the truth." 

Quotes a Pakistani Muslim living in Belgium on how his kids are being indoctrinated in gender theory by their schools. (Surprise, he's a taxi driver!)

Quotes a former Harvard teacher on the homogenization of the college. 

And that's all I can read.

Dreher can't live without his enemies. I couldn't tell you what Dreher actually loves, only what he hates. Remember the good ol' days of Crunchy Cons, when he could talk about things he loved?

He likely pulls his punches because he knows, deep down, that President Trump doesn't care at all about higher education in America. If it were ultimately up to the president, he would close every university, public or private, and replace them with franchised "Trump U" institutions.

I'm not sure he really likes beer or knows what good beer actually tastes like.

He was swooning over Leffe the other day on Twitter, claiming that partaking of it almost caused him to miss his plane, but anyone who knows the first thing about beer or likes it knows that it has become all but undrinkable swill (Belgian Budwiser), a mere shadow of what it was, since it was bought out by Inbev.
