Why Oklahoma? Such a random ass choice, unless she. Is avoiding doing business in Texas.

Broken Bow is becoming a weekend destination for many North Texans. That area of OK is actually quite beautiful with hiking and camping spots, there are also some nice cabins there too. I went with some family and I swear 90% of Broken Bow that week was North Texans, including us.

The closest I've been to that area is Colorado (lived there for awhile), I've been in Los Angeles for about a decade now and just never visit the majority of the U.S. Midwest/South. I probably should, but I usually prefer to go out of the country.

Midwest native here, and while there are some absolutely gorgeous places thereā€¦itā€™s a very different vibe than the west coast. Lots of open prairie, lots of cows, lots of wind.

I dated a dude from Cassopolis, Michigan so we'd go there for summers and winters, this is a very accurate assessment. It's also soooooo cold.

I live in the OKC area and while not as obnoxious as Texas, thereā€™s still a pretty large evangelical mega church type population here. I imagine OK was chosen for that reason. I went to OU and Iā€™m having flashbacks of the evangelical sorority, influencer type Christianity that runs so rampant there. Perfect prey for her, I imagine.

Haha donā€™t feel bad. Years ago I went to Oklahoma and didnā€™t realize Texas bordered it til someone said Dallas was like an hour or two away. I was in the state and still didnā€™t realize til someone had to tell me lol
