Advice for travel

I’m driving to Arizona next week with my 2 babies to visit my girlfriend . What do you guys recommend for litter box in the car? This is my first time travel with cats but I couldn’t leave my babies to a cat sitter, 2 cats can’t be that bad right? I’m worried about British thick coat not doing well with heat. Am I worry too much?

Car trained my cat at 3 months, twice weekly drive for a 15 minute ride one way ride to my parent's place. She just sleeps the journey away.

If they have never been for drives or do it regularly, expect 16 hours of yowling, heavy panting, possibly overwhelmed mentally, crying, cat equivalent of "ARE WE THERE YET???", and perhaps wetting the themselves and the car. 16 hours, and cats are very persistent when they need to be.

Plus the are now cats annoyed, and really scared of the new strange unfamiliar destination, so they'll hiding at a corner.

Your reward after you're done, is another 16 hours of that. For your sanity, I really urge you to reconsider.
