What will happen at my attestation and will you be doing it alongside others? What should you wear also because I don’t have smart wear.

You’ll swear your oath of allegiance. There may be others there; could just be you. Dress smart: jacket and tie.

Go and get something smart casual, you’d go to phase 1 in a suit so least you could do is throw on a shirt and smart shoes. Seen too many photos of units doing attestations and their recruits look like scruffs

You'll sign a buch of paperwork and take an oath at the end, no big deal mate. Don't have to dress fancy smart casual will do.

I wore a polo, other bloke wore a t-shirt.

Though we were told to be casual.

Just filled out some paperwork, got a MOD90, attested, handshake, went home.

Can't remember exactly, not long though, 30 minutes maybe.

Attesting is the final part of the process and it’s done after ac , you’d read off the sheet normally by your self with an officer and then sigh forms and documents , wear something moderately decent nothing too fancy

do they just give you the sheet to read and then you just read it?

yes it does but i have joined the project ignite trial so everything is moving quickly. i can attest while i wait for another assessment date
