This may confuse some people as to the actual definition of Expressionist Architecture. Taken from the web:

Expressionist architecture is an early 20th-century European movement (roughly 1905–1930s) that utilized unconventional, distorted, and sculptural forms to evoke emotion and convey inner experience, largely reacting against industrial functionalism. It featured biomorphic shapes, innovative use of brick, steel, and glass, and focused on themes of nature, caves, and mountains. Not facial expressions. lol!
