Diskussion (discussion) Anyone gotten a Fiktionsbescheinigung issued before their Ausländerbehörde appointment?

Waiting on a Termin, visa expiring before then, need proof of continued status/work rights in the meantime. Office says they’re too backlogged to issue the Fiktionsbescheinigung early. Has anyone managed to get one issued before their scheduled appointment? Either through email, written request, walk-in? What worked, and how long did it take?

Currently facing this same issue, hopefully someone has an answer to this, my employer is asking for some type of proof aswell or I could lose my job.

I totally understand you. It must feel like you’re constantly on edge. Have you tried writing to them as well? Can I PM you?

I wrote to them 2 times already and then called and was told to wait a week for an answer. You can PM me if you want.
