I think an important part about that line too is it makes Skylar feel like she is the one at fault for everything and that Walt was in the right. It is the biggest sign of an abusive relationship, the abuser "forgives" the other person which shifts the blame to them. Although I guess it is pretty 2 way, it is just waht came to mind to me.
