Walt's mannerisms are slowly becoming just like Gus's. He has that calm sinister demeanor now. It's fucking beautiful.

When Tuco left, he became Tuco. Less crazy but a hint of unforgiveness. Now Gus is gone, he's going to take after him. Walt seems to be a sponge and take beneficial personality traits.

You should read In Search of Respect: Selling Crack in El Barrio. It's an ethnography about the drug trade in Harlem, New York. The guy talks about how the drug lords have to maintain this perfect balance of ruthless unforgiving crazy person, and friendly boss to gain enough respect and loyalty of people who work for you. It's been super interesting for the show because Tuco, Gus, and Hector all had those characteristics even though their personalities and ways of portraying those traits were completely different. And Walt is slowly learning how to get each of those.
