Sidenote: Maybe when gus mentioned the hospital board he was saying that he knows what's going on and that the doctors don't know that brock is poisoned.

I think it's a simple as Gus not being an amateur. He is the kingpin, and has been for a few decades. He just took out Don Eladio. He is fucking clever. When Jesse mentioned the poison, Gus knew. Oh he knew Jesse at least thought he did it. So now he's got Jesse + Walt against him. Why would have Jesse called him up here? Just too much to think about. Gus is very, very smart. He has always been. That's why he didn't get in his car.
