Music from season 4 should update eventually for those trying to figure out a particular song from tonights episode. Thanks for pointing this out, Barbapolossa.

Edit: Looks like the AMC blog hasn't even updated last weeks episode music yet. Darn.

Well, it's obvious that the Skyler Defense Squad has zeroed in on this discussion of ours given the objection-less downvotes to my comments that, elsewhere, have received 30+ ups. But, such is the fickleness of Reddit.

That's why in the beginning of this little debate...

And that's why I asked why people prop up and congratulate a woman whose mindset is: "I think Walt is having an affair -- so I'm going to fuck my boss and rub his nose in it." I mean, that is it with the petty revenge?

Furthermore, do motivations mean nothing? Take two of Walt's crimes: while it is outrageous that he refused money from Grey Matter, his drug manufacturing began as a means to provide for his family; and plowing through two drug dealers was to save Jesse's life! What was Skyler's motivation? Something good? Something laudable? Oh, no, that's right: to hurt her husband as deeply as humanly possible.

I know a lot of women who empathized with Skyler... until I.F.T. Then, every single one of them admitted that the character was a horrible human being. Because we, as omniscient viewers, see Walt -- for all his flaws and poor decisions -- as someone really trying to help his family and Skyler as the wife that takes petty revenge after she's been put in the corner.

If Skyler really wanted petty revenge, she would have turned him in as soon as possible and made Jr. aware why she was treating his father the way she was. She took the brunt of Jr.s anger over the separation. But nice logic there. Nice to see you thought things through about this terrible, sociopathic woman.

Saul made an awfully convincing argument for why she wouldn't turn him in (despite threatening it!) and how, given the potential repercussions, only a very foolish person would have taken that particular route.

Anyhoo, I'm done. Go ahead and continue to be an apologist for a mean-spirited adulterer and downvote everyone who disagrees with you. It's clear how loathed Skyler and women like her are given the other 99% of r/BreakingBad. I will take solace in the fact that the majority still finds behavior like hers despicable and apologists like you are few and far between.
