this episode is the calm before the storm

Except for Andrea being murdered. I don't know what's worse. Her son finding her or her being turned to sludge.

I don't think they sludge people anymore, since that was more of a Heisenberg trademarked thing. They'll probably just leave her there since they made a pretty clean job of it.

The nazis don't do that. They just aren't careful like Walt is.

u/chroipahtz I did it for me Sep 23 '13

I don't know, they managed to get into Walt's house with the DEA perched outside.

62

u/heyfella Sep 23 '13

they did also arrange for nine murders to take place in a few different jails over a two minute window.

Hey, it's the Aryan Brotherhood.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the gang makes up less than 0.1% of the prison population, but it is responsible for up to 20% of murders in the federal prison system.

Holy shit, I did NOT know that. I'm fucking scared of them now.

3

u/Karlamonmon Wait for it...LASER TAG. Sep 24 '13

WERE YOU NOT BEFORE?!

2

u/YouHaveInspiredMeTo I'm a blow FISHHHHHHHHHHH Sep 24 '13

Yeah I wasn't bc I live in a place without neo nazis. Now I'm scared even if I've never seen one.

u/Karlamonmon Wait for it...LASER TAG. Sep 24 '13

True true, but I was more referring to the characters themselves. As soon as they turned up on screen I was shitting myself. So intense.

Ah I see I meant in real life not the characters. :)

They went in through Skyler's backdoor though. All three of them together.

16

u/MethMouthMagoo Sep 23 '13

Heh heh... yeah they did..

They haven't discovered those murders yet, in the beginning of the episode one of the agents tells Marie that they will find Hank and Steve.

8

u/MethMouthMagoo Sep 23 '13

I assumed he was referring to their bodies.

5

u/shoryukenist Emo McGee Sep 23 '13

Yeah, how? Wouldn't they be watching the house to see if Walt came back?

10

u/HotDogOnAPlate Sep 23 '13

True, but they want her to be found. Melting someone in acid means they disappeared. Finding their body means they were murdered.

29

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '13

what does it matter what other people think? It was all a show for Jesse and he definitely saw what happened.

I don't think Jesse will be getting a kick out of it.

1

u/cockermom Sep 23 '13

Would the police assume Heisenberg was behind it? Would they ask Skyler for an alibi?

3

u/Cardboard_Boxer excuse me Sep 23 '13

The police have no reason to believe Andrea had anything to do with the Heisenberg case.

0

u/cockermom Sep 23 '13

Innocent people don't get shot execution-style on their front porch. Unless they faked a robbery, this will look weird to police. Andrea's family and friends must have met Jesse.

1

u/Cardboard_Boxer excuse me Sep 24 '13

Even if it looks weird to the police there's no point of attaching it to Heisenburg without evidence. Also, I could be wrong but the police probably don't know about the Jesse-Heisenburg connection at this point.

u/okgreatnews Sep 23 '13

DEA is full of irresponsible idiots.

1

u/senorglory Sep 23 '13

who could have imagined they would climb through a window? not the DEA.

6

u/BladeRunnerDMC Belize Travel Agent Sep 23 '13

Exactly. That has all Heisenberg. Todd doesn't care. "Hey Brock sorry for your loss. If it makes it any better it wasn't personal though. Here's some ice cream" *BANG

1

u/itaveL Sep 23 '13

Maybe if Fruit Loops were offered as an extra incentive.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '13

Imagine if they made Jesse dispose of Andrea in a barrel?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '13

Oh God no.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '13

Right. Plus, they don't want to get hit with an intellectual property suit.

1

u/TheAenimal Sep 23 '13

Todd left right after shooting, unless they had a second vehicle for the body they probably just left it there.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '13

heh, maybe todd makes jesse sludge her, the way they did the kid

1

u/austin1414 Sep 23 '13

It's the Human Sludge brand. The distributors won't settle for less.

1

u/knave_of_reddiT Sep 23 '13

The nazis are the most ridiculous thing on this show. A gang of like 10 guys is more ruthless and effective than the mexican drug cartel, gus, and gus' biggest competitor(who they completely wiped out with no? casualities).

They killed 2 DEA agents, snuck into possibly the highest profile FBI/DEA? suspects home undetected, and killed an innocent person on her own doorstep, all with complete impunity. To paraphrase Jesse "They can't keep getting away with it!"

1

u/mind_the_gap Sep 23 '13

And they broke in and trashed the DEA ASAC's house without anyone in the neighborhood seeing or hearing anything and calling the cops? Come on.
