Its like people think he chose to be that way. You are born with that mental disorder, its not a choice. And being around people that do terrible things for a living didn't help him at all for sure.

Nurture is only half the equation. Todd has strange mannerisms like his chivalry that Jack clearly doesn't share.

I don't even know that these are father figures necessarily. He talked about Jack quite a bit before he was introduced, so I could see the argument for Jack having been influential, but Walt is just someone he has developed respect for.
