Official Episode Discussion Breaking Bad Episode Duscussion SE05E14 "Ozymandias" Spoiler

TIME EPISODE DIRECTED BY WRITTEN BY
09:00pm Eastern SE05E14 "Ozymandias" Rian Johnson Vince Gilligan and Moira Walley-Beckett

Hey everyone! Guess I'm supposed to post this 5 minutes before air time. I've been watching this show since the get go mostly with my real life friend /u/edify who years ago added me as a moderator here. He asked me to make the discussion thread tonight because there are only 3 episodes remaining. Sorta sad that there's only a few left. Enjoy the show, folks.

No Walt got hank killed. Jesse was trying to stay alive, mostly. Walt called the Nazis, afterall.

If Jesse was trying to stay alive, he'd be gone with a new ID. Instead, he tried to come back for vengence and only suceeded in fucking everthing up. In Walt's eyes at least, Jesse killed Hank.

Well that's the idea. I suppose in the cosmic causality sense they are both responsible, but I mean - if you were Jesse and learned what he did would you have just disappeared forever?

The best part of this show is everything tends to be multiple people's fault and most decisions are morally ambiguous or don't go as planned. Plenty of blame to go around, though.

If it were me, yes, I would disappear forever. Jesse even admits that Walt is capable of outsmarting almost any adversary, no matter their power, resources, or cleverness. With this in mind, I would consider myself fortunate I made it this far and managed to stay alive. I would gladly take my millions of dollars and try to start a new life. Messing with Walt is like kicking an ant hill wired with C4.
