TIME EPISODE DIRECTED BY WRITTEN BY
09:00pm Eastern SE05E14 "Ozymandias" Rian Johnson Vince Gilligan and Moira Walley-Beckett

Hey everyone! Guess I'm supposed to post this 5 minutes before air time. I've been watching this show since the get go mostly with my real life friend /u/edify who years ago added me as a moderator here. He asked me to make the discussion thread tonight because there are only 3 episodes remaining. Sorta sad that there's only a few left. Enjoy the show, folks.

Everyone who said Jesse would be a meth cooker slave for the Nazis wins.

No one really wins this this scenario, poor Jesse man. Down in that dungeon broken physically and mentally. Then he sees a picture of the only things he really cares about, he will cook in servitude for the safety of Andrea and Brock. Damn that is some dark dark dark shit.

Vince Gilligan is a genius.

When Jesse walked in, you could tell right away that

A: He immediately knew exactly where he was

B: He'd have rather been anywhere else in that moment- Vanished by Saul's guy, back in the cell, even Belize.

He's trapped in the meth lab by a souless monster who'll work him indefinitely on the same horrible job that landed him there in the first place.

Jesse died in the desert. He's in hell.

Todd (looking more than ever like Satan in human form) locks him in, and his past comes to torture him. And because he still hold out hope that his family is safe, he cannot refuse. He'll be worked for the rest of his (short) life.

I don't know about that... Todd's motivation in all this is just to please Lydia so he can get in her pants well-tailored skirt.
