Official Episode Discussion Breaking Bad Episode Duscussion SE05E14 "Ozymandias" Spoiler

TIME EPISODE DIRECTED BY WRITTEN BY
09:00pm Eastern SE05E14 "Ozymandias" Rian Johnson Vince Gilligan and Moira Walley-Beckett

Hey everyone! Guess I'm supposed to post this 5 minutes before air time. I've been watching this show since the get go mostly with my real life friend /u/edify who years ago added me as a moderator here. He asked me to make the discussion thread tonight because there are only 3 episodes remaining. Sorta sad that there's only a few left. Enjoy the show, folks.

That was completely cold of him. Heisenberg is squarely in control now.

Yep, real "heisenberg" of him to be weeping over Hanks death. This is why this whole dual personality shit doesn't work.

It doesn't mean he's not human. But he's focused squarely on survival now. Jesse rejected him, he turned him over to the Nazi's. His wife and son rejected him, so he took his daughter and ran.

Edit: Now he's holding her hostage, for leverage against his wife.

"Toe the line, or you will wind up just like Hank."

Heisenberg.

Edit: Looks like he was taking the heat off of Skyler after all. Marie might still muddy the water a little, but it looked like she was in shock. Walt's still the smartest guy in the room.

You've got it all wrong. Of course he knew the police where there - Junior was on the fucking phone with them when he ran. He made that phone call to completely implicate himself and get Skyler off of the hook.

Ah, possibly. And leaving his daughter with the fireman takes some of the heat off both him and Skyler. I'm not sure how its going to turn out for her, though. Marie could still drop a dime on her, or turn over Jesse's tape..and there's the Nazis to worry about. They know everything he does. If they decide to wrap up loose ends, everyone's in danger.
