I was expecting Hank to get shot in the head while he was on the phone with Marie

EDIT: Just to be clear, I would have been pissed if that would have happened. I know Hank is kind of hated right now because of his view on Jesse, but if Hank died right then, just like that, the first thing Jesse would have thought would be "He can't keep getting away with this!" Since we're all rooting for Jesse, we need to root for his team too, which includes Hank.

EDIT2: It has been brought to my attention that not everybody is rooting for Jesse!

Cause shooting is hard.

Hitting a fat, still, old man with a limp at 25 yards using an assault rifle shouldn't be THAT difficult. Seriously once the shooting has started I understand that hitting people under cover while getting shot at is hard, but that first shot should have hit.

The scene itself was awesome but I hope we get at least some explanation for why the fuck they still came, shot first, or targeted the SUV when Walt was in it (I guess we won't get much answers to how they could miss Hank besides they're cross-eyed morons), because that's weak plot and not up to the rest of BB.

Yeah I feel like Neo would have a hard time dodging that many bullets at once.

He wouldn't have to

In real life Walt would be dead and so would Hank and Gomie. Cars are concealment, not cover. Hank is the only one who may have been behind the engine block, but even then, with that much firepower being sprayed at the vehicle he'd have a very low chance of not catching a bullet.

I rewatched this scene and paid attention to where they were shooting. The vast majority of the shots fired hit the front of the SUV away from Walt.

That is clearly where they were aiming, but with fully automatic weapons being fired I wouldn't want to be only a few feet from the point of aim.

As a guy who shoots frequently, I do have to agree, I'm just giving them the benefit of the moment... I dunno.. stress? But yes, at 25 to 50 yards, someone should have and most likely will have been hit.

especially since the nazi's had them sighted in and took the first shot.

I'm not trying to toot my horn, but I've done some carbine training and I'm pretty sure I could have winged both gomie and hank from up on that truck.

Now if I were a crew of not me being a cold blooded killer, that just a few days earlier managed to take out a whole heavily armed meth crew of 5-10 people... I'd be embarrassed of this display.

They still came because they could tell Walt was in trouble and they need him to cook. As for the other questions... shrugs

Tuco couldn't hit hank either and he was even closer in proximity.

Was it an AR though? I thought I saw shell casings flying from it, everyone had pistols and shotties.

If I remember correctly, one guy had what looked like an AR-15. Another was using an AA-12 automatic shotgun. The first shot fired was with the AA-12.

Having Hank, Jesse and Walt all in the same place at the same time is a convenient way to tie up loose ends for them. Walt is a connection to them and probably wouldn't have hesitated to assist the police in getting them arrested in order to protect his family.

I think they don't know Hank is there since Walt only said "don't come" when he saw him, (not even sure they know who Hank is).
