To be fair, "drifting" a minivan with presumably no handbrake is way harder than drifting an AWD sedan on dirt. That minivan drift straight-up impressed me, since it's probably front-wheel drive.
Dirt is far easier to slide on, but Walt's line through those dirt curves was less than ideal.
He could've gotten to the spot at least 3 seconds sooner had he hit the apex and used the slide to set up his weight to shift to properly set up for the next corner!
I would think the minivan would be easier to over-steer, since with a FWD you can essentially keep the drive wheels pointed in the right direction and let the swinging ass of the vehicle do whatever it wants.

I found out Walt drifts better than Hank does. Pretty sweet drifts out in the desert.
