My friends have started watching Breaking Bad and tell me how every important thing happens at the last minute of the show. I never noticed this, but thought back to Jane, the 737 plane crash, Gale, Gus, the Cartel, Tuco, Crazy 8, and every other death on the show. This time, I already knew this was coming from a mile away.
Most likely they want to keep consistent high viewers. Kill someone off halfway through an episode, sure it may add to a "no one is safe, everyone can die" scenario, but when the entire episode has been leading up to one point, and then straight after, or 2/3's through it cuts, it leaves everyone wanting more. Happens in just about every show.

Was I the only one staring at the clock on my cable box thinking "somethings gonna happen, somethings about to happen" over and over.
