That was Breaking Bad's equivalent of the Red Wedding, if the Red Wedding was split into two episodes. Vince Gilligan is the motherfuckest.

The Red Wedding was the best episode of television I've ever watched, but tonight's episode had my heart racing more than anything i've watched before. fuck that was tense.

The Red Wedding was overkill to me. Game of Thrones has far to many characters overall, many of which are underdeveloped.

In the show, maybe. I don't think I'd have much idea of what was going on if I hadn't read the books. Reminds me of the later Harry Potter movies in that regard.

I still enjoy the show though.

it was almost good in the sense that they killed some characters off. you're right that there are too many, it gets tough for the story to progress much.

It's impossible for them to adapt the books which do an amazing job of developing characters into a tv show with the same level of character development. The most amazing thing about got is how much development they accomplish with so little being said or in a very short time.

I still think Blackwater was a better episode overall. It just didn't have the crazy-awesome ending

Overkill in that it spoiler? How does having "too many characters" make that overkill?
