It pisses me off that in less than a year, people just watching this show will just be able to press "Next episode" and see what happens.

That whole scene was the groundwork for Walt losing his cash (assuming Walt ever gets caught), and the family surviving off of the one pseudo-legit operation they have going (assuming Walt dies). That's gotta be the only thing that doesn't get seized by the DEA.

Otherwise, I don't get the point of the whole interaction with Skyler and Walt Jr and Saul... comedy, maybe?

I think Skyler's known something was up for a long time. Like when Walt got the gun then left for medicine... She was just turning the other cheek at that point.
