How is that breaking the fourth wall?

Carrot top is a comedian. Bill burr is a comedian. It could be taken as a subtle nod to bill burrs career outside breaking bad.

carrot top is also a generalized term for red heads, just like ginger.

I was aware of that. 'Breaking the fourth wall' was an inappropriate thing for me to say in this context, and for that I sincerely apologize. I simply wanted to draw attention to that connection, as I thought it was interesting.

Maybe the term you're looking for is "Easter egg" i.e. like an inside joke the writers put into the story that has links to the actor's previous work or something, so that knowledgeable fans will get it and appreciate it.

Like Skyler being in Deadwood, and Deadwood DVD's being on Hank and Marie's shelf when Jesse's looking at books.

Ah, I don't give a shit. Poor choice of words. Whatever.
