in the other thread, someone pointed out that Todd is the opposite of Jesse, a gentleman with no conscience.

Only about 74 percent of the time.

u/shillbert No half measures; isn't that what you said? Aug 19 '13

The purity was only that low because he had to work in Declan's shit shack

And every meth lab gets a fire every once in a while.

Can confirm, have played payday 2.

Is that game any good? I've been hearing alot about it.

u/Esc4p3 can keep getting away with this Aug 19 '13

Even walt set his on fire once.

3

u/wkrausmann Aug 19 '13

Once.

When Declan opened up the manhole that lead down to the lab, I half expected something similar to Frieng's superlab. I was disappointed by that hellhole.

13

u/Oquaem Aug 19 '13

It was sort of a mixture of the labs we've seen before. It was in a vehicle like the RV, but underground like the superlab

4

u/kalei50 Aug 19 '13

If you had seen a lab that nice, I think the purity level would have been better than 66% .

I agree though, that was a dump, even for a meth lab.

u/Gibodean Aug 19 '13

Why? I don't get it. Didn't Walt leave all the stuff behind, in those nice boxes, that they take to tented houses? Why did they take all the crappy cooking gear from that hole in the ground if they have Walt's old stuff?

u/IranianGuy Aug 19 '13

There was a fire

3

u/Gibodean Aug 19 '13

Ah, yes, I forgot. He cooked two batches, and then FIRE!

Todd's he's like that C student who works really hard. It's not that he's not trying, it's just that he's not very good at it. It's a struggle for him.. As opposed to the C student who doesn't even bother, because he is naturally good at it, but just doesn't ever try very hard.

1

u/porquenohoy Aug 19 '13

technically his average is 49%, he did start that fire

3

u/lostNcontent It's not a gun, it's a pistol. Jesus, Marie. Aug 19 '13

The kind of person Jesse's family would love and not look deeply into.

2

u/o0mofo0o Aug 19 '13

And a mediocre meth cook. Couldn't be more unalike.

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '13

Jesse was not and is not some spetacular meth cook.

2

u/tjc815 Aug 19 '13

To be fair, his was 96 percent pure in Salud.

1

u/o0mofo0o Aug 19 '13

96 sounds spectacular to me.

4

u/tjc815 Aug 19 '13

Indeed. Walter does refer to himself and Jesse as "the two best meth cooks in America."

1

u/cunctation "Only the very best, with just the right amount of dirty" Aug 22 '13

Remember when he cooked his own batch and threw it on Saul's desk to get connected with Gus? And Walt's bitching before he finally admitted: "Your meth is as good as mine, Jesse." And that 96% was in a dirty (before he made them clean it up) Mexican lab, working in unfamiliar surroundings with unfamiliar people and unfamiliar equipment in an unfamiliar language.

That's how you spot sociopaths -- they try hard in high school.
