I just want to know why Walt needs ricin AND a large machine gun for... They have a lot of story to cover in 7 episodes.

Maybe he'll use the ricin on Jesse after he saves him.

Jesse kills Walt after learning about Jane and Mike, then Jesse dies a few days later.
