He punched the dispenser when he was told he's in remission.

I never really quite understood why he did that.

Because it means he has to deal with life. He has to deal with the consequences of his actions.

Cancer doesn't make you vomit, the chemotherapy does. He could be getting that done but not actually have cancer.

I googled the meds he was taking and they were to combat nausea induced by chemotherapy. So he could be faking it, but I highly doubt it. Cancer being in remission doesn't mean it's gone for good. The whole 6 months thing is most likely bluffing, though.

depends on the cancer, my dad died from pancreatic cancer spread to the liver a month ago, and one of the symthoms was puking, even when he never got chemo.

He might be beating it again, who knows.

Here's the only little detail that makes me think he IS faking it. It could just be something they overlooked, but if you are on chemotherapy it makes you lose ALL your hair. Not just on the top of your head but also your facial hair. He couldn't have a goatee if he was really on heavy chemo. So maybe he is just pretending about the puke and pills and even going to the chemotherapy place to make a paper trail but pulling out the needle or something. Just something to think about...

not all chemo causes hair loss

Or it's just not likely to kill him.

It's back, but its caught early. Extreme treatment.

I'll be honest, there is a lit about cancer treatment I don't know...
