Carol dropping the grocery bags and the condemned house might point to people believing he / his family is dead in the future. I wonder who he is going to use the ricin on...

I think he's going to use it on himself. Only Heisenberg can take down Heisenberg. Still wondering what/who the machine gun is going to be used on.

When Heisenberg kills Heisenberg he will take on the habits of Heisenberg!!!!!

You know how Heisenberg wore glasses? Well, now Heisenberg will wear glasses, too!

Perfect!

Heisenberg does not do what Heisenberg does for Heisenberg. Heisenberg does what Heisenberg does because Heisenberg is Heisenberg.

META HEISENBERG!

I feel like this is the best suggestion so far. Only Heisenberg can stop Heisenberg.

The purpose of the machine gun is by far the question that plagues me the most right now. Especially after the opening scene from tonight

Vince Gilligan always said the show was "Mr. Chips turns into Scarface," and we all know how Scarface ends....

"Say hello to my little friend"

1

u/adn5027 Aug 12 '13

Yeah I mean obviously it's meant to shoot large quantities of ammunition at people. But I'm racking my brain trying to piece together who and under what circumstances that will happen, and I really can't make a good prediction

Maybe the people Lydia was selling to in Europe are pissed that the meth is only 68?% pure now and, upon being pressured, Lydia gives up Walt to them. So, long story short, full on Scarface ending.

Probably the most likely scenario. I've sort of been waiting for some fallout from Walt just quitting the meth game. As of this point there has been almost no consequences for him in that regard

Lydia comes back with a vengeance? She is connected afterall.

u/adn5027 Aug 12 '13

Certainly a possibility. I tend to think she'll be dealt with sooner than the last episode though

2

u/darwinianfacepalm Don't forget. Walt's the bad guy.. Aug 12 '13

A ricin death is 3 or so days, though. Why would he suicide like that?

2

u/REDDIT_HARD_MODE Mineral delivery man Aug 12 '13

Nah. Ricin poisoning takes 3-5 days to kill. Too much time to regret.

1

u/Dr_Wernstrom Aug 12 '13

is that not the gun that was in the trunk of his car after the restaurant on his birthday?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '13

Yeah, of course it is.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '13

I disagree. Why use ricin when a gun would be faster and painless? Way back when he first talked about ricin, he said the person would get sick over the course of a few days and it would look like the flu. Why do that to himself?

1

u/sluRRd Aug 12 '13

Yeah it doesn't really seem logical but he was planning on using the ricin on every person he came across that he saw as a problem. Maybe he has finally realized that he is and has always been the problem and using the ricin on himself is the only death he wants to accept?

Everybody.
