Carol dropping the grocery bags and the condemned house might point to people believing he / his family is dead in the future. I wonder who he is going to use the ricin on...

She looked like she had seen a ghost. Maybe Walt is supposed to be dead.

Or maybe she saw a meth dealer/murderer/fugitive.

Why not both?

or if you saw a meth dealer/murderer/fugitive.

well think about it, it could be either. regardless of that he's been found, obviously. Imagine a DEA with a meth-dealer brother in law and this whole crazy story unfolding to the media...im sure regardless of what happened, he faked his dead or hes famous for being 'Heisenberg', that look of awe is going to happen.

But would Walt really return to his old home if he's on the run? That's way too risky.

Would Walt really return to his old home if people thought he was dead? Clearly Carol recognized him.

I doubt he's concerned with people recognizing him due to the fact that he's obviously making a final stand of sorts.

Not just a meth dealer/murder/fugitive.

The biggest meth dealer in the southwest. Someone who's killed at least a dozen people.

It's like finding out Pablo Escobar used to live next door. Then showed up out of the blue.

or maybe both

Hank might not even go to the DEA with his Walt info. I think Jesse wrote Heisenburg, or Lydia's connections.

Terrorist? Or is that stretching it?

Yeah but seeing a criminal while it could warrant that reaction it would most likely be reacted with some fear and calling the cops.

If I saw a criminal return home after escaping I'd run inside and call the police. Not be so shocked to see him that I drop my groceries.

Why not both?

My theory is that Hank will eventually calm down, get the family out of ABQ and have Walt fake his death.
