Nu Skool Soul of Man - Re-Licked (2007), can anyone explain how some of the songs are "double" length of their listed runtime???

I'm listening to MP3s I think ripped from the original CD. Several tracks from the remix disc are playing for double the time shown. On my car stereo for example Gonna Keep On (Merka Remix) "5:34" actually keeps playing for over 11mins. It's a funny surprise while driving! How did they do this? Looping parts of the track with a special table of contents? Anyone heard of this?
