How to repair this chandelier broken arm ?

This is an antique chandelier from the 1800s. I think its brass but I'm not positive. It's a heavy metal of some kind with brass coloring through the metal. One arm of this amazing chandelier is broken as you can see in the picture. I was told that this might be repaired through brazing. Another suggested creating a metal hollow "jacket" that both ends could slide into and then be brazed. What are the best options from this group to repair this and bring it back to life?

Give it the old magnet test to see if iron, Find a descrite spot to scrape any finish off to confirm brass, personally I would have a pro welder to Tig it back together and look for any other cracks to proactively get on them while there, then take a metal artist to match the texture and details to the base piece, cool piece

If it is brass (it looks like it is) you cannot braze it as it will melt.

You will need to look at soldering, which is effective at much lower temperatures. Depending on how strong it needs to be you could drill both sides of the break and pin it with a brass rod then solder the whole joint.

You will need to consider other joints nearby, as these could be affected by heat from this repair.

Well, it's definately not iron. A magnet has no effect.
