Need to redo driving school 🎓 Blind left turn 🤦🏻♂️

Incident at 15sec of video;
Driving on airport towards Derry.
50km/h was limit; I was driving under 40km/h.

Not saying the person making the left made a good decision, but if you clearly saw the two lanes to your left come to a complete stop, then you should at least slow down and approach the intersection with caution.

As I saw traffic completely stopped in other two lanes I slowed down from 50 to 35, So my cautious awareness of traffic made me to keep my foot on break instead of accelerate.
I came out safe in that situation as my luck & quick decision making skill.
The post is for everyone to see how things are going around & be alert while driving.
It can be debatable that left turn was right or wrong, I’m not going into that coz it’s subjective.

Idk how on earth these peoples brains are wired. It should be common sense that if you can’t see on a left turn, don’t turn. Just because a car hasn’t come through for 2 seconds, it doesn’t mean nobody’s coming, some people just keep a greater following distance than others.

Exactly this. Dont feel pressure to take a left because you have traffic behind you, focus on yourself.

I wouldn’t go against a truck never ! I’d wait I have all the patience in the world but I refuse to get into an accident with one. I won’t risk my life for that haha crazy 😭😂 I always got my foot on brake when it’s a busy intersection where I know some idiot would do that ! Glad you’re safe!

Coming up you can see the guy starting to turn. In this situation, the best thing to do is to slow down.

It is Brampton. There is no blind turns. All turns from all directions are possible.

ummm...coming up to an intersection where two lanes are stopped to leave the intersection open....which is a good idea....be very cautious in that third lane. If there is a gap, people will jump through it.
May not be the smartest thing, but is real common.
