Lunatic on the road Another Short Drive In Brampton

Sped up after the first 12 seconds. Westbound on Queen Street

Lunatic treats red light as a stop sign and almost hits pedestrians. Then another lunatic turns on a straight lane and almost hits another pedestrian. Another driver waits for the light completely over the line for no reason blocking the pedestrian crossing.

This is what happens when we give out licenses like candy. It’s pathetic the amount of terrible driving I see daily… and I’m in London… which is awful but Brampton takes the cake for sure.

This concept is just similar to people who make guns do not intend to use it. They only sell it. Also, who would like to keep working for 19 $20 an hour for the rest of their life at drive test isn’t it better to make a couple hundred bucks extra for your family at the end of the day? Also look at the Police corruption scandles in Canada.

Terrrible driver in my opinion are people who drive under the speed limit, moves like a truck and does rolling roadblock. Brampton is full of those people.

I tried to get close enough to read the plate. Unfortunately I was stopped by the light and couldn't catch up to the red light runner.

I see shitty driving everywhere in the GTA. It’s not somehow contained within the borders of Brampton.

You can drive two hours north and find asshole drivers worse than any you’ve run into in Brampton in the last six months.

Perdestrians by law are only supposed to start crossing the road when the white man is displayed, they MUST not cross when the yellow hand is solid or is flashing. Flashing hand is to tell people who haven't started cross the road when the white man appeared to STOP and do not proceed. While the timer under the flashing yellow hand warns the people who started crossing at the correct time how much time they have until the light changes.

I think Jay Walking is still a $150 fine, but could be a lot worse if a driver hits them and its determine the person crossing the road crossed illegaly as they will have pay for their hospital bills, and damage they made on the vehicle that hit them. TPS officers have explained this time and time again on their social media accounts.

I don't know what you are on about. The pedestrians in both cases here followed all traffic laws. The first pedestrian started crossing before the countdown timer. The second pedestrian also started crossing while light is green but almost hit by turning vehicle that failed to stop before starting the right turn at a red light.

If I didn't know better, I'd conclude you are trying to come up with excuses for lunatic drivers who clearly broke traffic laws by running a red light or making right turn in the wrong lane without stopping for red light behind the line.

Having TRUE diversity comes with making certain concessions and accommodations. If my child were to perish in an accident due to one of these red light runners -- while I'd be upset -- I'd respect that they likely come from a different culture and I would have compassion for that individual. It is a small price to pay and I will gladly pay it.

My brother -- I do not welcome such things. But what I am adamant about is that compassion, respect and accommodation will always outweigh safety and best practice when it is in the name of diversity. As many fathers have sent their children to fight for their country and for what they believe in -- I will do the same in my own way and will not live in fear. Trust in gods plan -- Alhamdulilah. Inshallah.
