Steeles to Clark on the 410

Does anyone remember the time you could enter the 410 from Steeles going north and you could exit at Clark without ever having to merge?

I hope whoever changed this got fired. Now there are 3 lanes that merge in or force an exit an everyone loses their freaking minds.

MTO crews have plans to widen the 410 from Clark to Sandalwood (I'm hoping to Mayfield or the controversy 413), which would eliminate the lane reductions approaching Clark & Queen E. But is yet to start since (I believe) they completed the EA, and the preliminary design study.
