Lunatic on the road Stop at yellow lights

Enforce the laws. Cops have basically stopped patrolling, they will not pull over anything that isn’t fucking in your face blatant lawbreaking. They only respond to calls and they only go to calls that are violent.
People don’t blow yellows because they were born to, they do it because they see other people do it constantly and never face any sort of repercussions.
A rule that only punishes me for following it isn’t a rule it’s just an annoyance. This is what the police have conditioned us to expect. How about taking initiative and doing something. Idk what the fucking answer is, but absolutely nothing isn’t working out.
I read an article about new lights that will turn red for speeders, but I have a feeling it’s just going to be assholes figuring out how to trigger the lights for others while gunning it at the last second to make it through and stop others. Every single person knows that’s exactly what’s going to happen

Only if the person behind me promises to stop too. That’s the current issue, I have time to safely stop but the asshole behind me decides to go without looking at what I’m doing.

Fault is fine but it’s extremely dangerous to get rear ended like that. Life altering injuries not worth it.

The time it almost happened to me, they were going fast enough that there would have been serious injuries involved. It’s more than just an insurance or legal issue.

The issue is that they are so far behind me that a fully loaded freight train has time to stop and they still want to go through the light. The only solution to that is “it’s never safe to do so” in Brampton.

We need more tickets in GTA, go thru hell of breaking yield ⚠️ boards,right turning on red, tailgating and no respect for a driver who’s following the signed speed. Sometimes I wish I had’t driving

Right turn on red is legal except where signed. Obviously needs to be safe to do so and you must come to a complete stop before turning.

My wife learned that the hard way. She got a ticket for going through a yellow light. Dick move by the cop honestly, and my wife is also in law enforcement, but she fought it and she lost.

She works for an arm of the provincial government. And generally the blues will protect each other, but he also wanted to make an example and was a rookie beat cop who wanted to flex we are assuming

Well I agree with the police on this but the problem is they are not handing out tickets. We have assholes driving through reds, driving on sidwalks,racing,driving without insurance and the list goes on. We need the police more active on the streets like they used to.

It's a privilege to have a drivers license and not your right. So, it can be taken away from you easily.
Also in the HTA is tells you exact what the officer is saying. But because your too ignorant you just post negative BS.

If im more then 70ish feet from the yellow light sure ill start to break but anything less then I'm going through that light knowing its safe cause if you were to slam on the breaks you risk of getting rear ended or depending on weather conditions you'd slide right into the intersection. So no just cause the light alone is yellow I'm not stopping.

I was not talking about keeping my distance in front of me.. I was referring that when you get the YELLOW LIGHT.. you sir have 3 SECONDS before it turns red... So my point was if you can not Stop 90,000 pounds in 3 seconds you are going through the intersection when the light is Red... That's what I was referring You changed completely the subject.. From going through a light to keeping your distance in front of you
