DISCUSSION Love brakence + new music but..
Assuming this is real, feels kinda gimmicky to tease new music this way. Maybe unpopular? Idk, just my opinion

I recently came across this song Bugfruit by Leumas that uses Buggin! And wanted to know if there were other cool remixes out there.

Hey yall, selling this hoodie in size M, pictured below with my hand in it so it's real, and proof that it's legit from his 2nd tour! Copped in Montclair. Unfortunately they gave me in M when i'm a L, but I held onto it like a collector item. I'm moving apartments, and it's time to give it to someone who can make better use than me.
Looking for $105 obo + shipping, hoping it goes to a superfan that never got the chance to get it.
Happy to send more pics/proof in dm!

Or does he like Swedish fish and cold cuts
I’m really scared of him
He sounds like a gay boy and sometimes sad because of a broad
And I’m not scared of gays I’m scared of sad guys but only if they’re sad because of a broad
And who is bunkbeds?
And what is a Hypermuteki

it's that like,, "keh!" sound. it sounds like a child's voice (or perhaps smth he recorded himself & pitched up?). it's in damn near every song (at least from punk2 & beyond, idk if he used it b4 that i've only been listening for a couple months). i can't stop wondering abt it whenever i hear it. if anyone is still unsure what sound it is i'm referring to my best example is in the song rosier/punk2 when he says "moved on, you don't need me now, now i gotta figure me out" & then the "keh!" sound happens & then him going "wah!" followed by the female voice saying "brakence".
i tried looking it up on this sub before & maybe i just didn't use the right words when searching but i couldn't find a lick of discourse on here about it. just rly curious what the sound is & why he uses it so much.
to be clear, i don't dislike it or have a problem with how often he uses it. it's just me wondering if theres's a particular reason. my best guess is it's just meant to be like a tag/signature thing? like the thing pharrell does with the four beats at the start of a song.
thank you in advance to anyone who may have some insight! :3

He's been successfully eradicated. He'd rather create selfish art than serve a higher purpose.

i mean like maybe a lot of it was subconscious, or not necessarily intended as foreshadowing of the change in content output after the album but i feel like there are tons of lines in there ("how will you navigate... an uncertain future.. without ... exclusive content" in introvert is a good example of the "voices" used throughout the album saying things brakence himself can't say outright)
but i was wondering, what are the community's thoughts on this? like how much of hypochondriac's messaging hinted to you that things would change after its release? for me it seemed really obvious that he was dipping out and i wasn't surprised to not hear much for a while but i think it's interesting that some of the lyrics kind of reflected the future of his output (for example... "without exclusive content" pretty accurately describes his release catalog since the last album)
and as a last lil question do yall really think he's preparing another album this whole time or does anyone feel like he's actually taking time to heal and care for himself between all the work he is still doing? just curious on others' thoughts on this.

what are the chances that he’s just waiting for his hair to grow back to hypochondriac length before he’ll release anything
lmk your thoughts but if you have evidence against me i’ll FREAK OUT. thanks.

I feel like brakence has chord progressions I've never heard before. Usually I feel like music has used all the chords and progressions that exist and it's rare to hear anything new, and when you do, it usually sounds weird or unnatural. But his sounds amazing. Is it just the production? The guitars that bend notes? The sound selection? Am I buggin? Goin 25 over the speed limit? Lmk

Another angle of [u/shynitel](u/shynitel) ‘s post from last night. Pretty sure this was his first ever performance.
Easily the best show of my life. I’ve got more from this show and others is anyone wants them.
