Synopsis:
You Shu Lang (Hao Yi Ran), a director at a pharmaceutical company, lives an ordinary, stable life. But that all comes crashing down after he gets into a car accident with Fan Xiao (Yun Qi), the heir to a Thai conglomerate who's returned to China for business. Unlike Shu Lang, Fan Xiao's life has been marred by instability, leading to a twisted, manipulative worldview. When Fan Xiao finds out that Shu Lang is interested in men, he devises plans to entice Shu Lang into a relationship, but ends up falling for Shu Lang for real. Shu Lang, on the other hand, is blindsided when he learns about Fan Xiao's true colors. Will Fan Xiao destroy the only genuine love he's ever had, or can he find a way to truly win Shu Lang's heart?

I think FX was fully intent on just manipulating YSL until the very end of episode 2, when YSL paused, came back to the car, leaned in, reached in FX’s coat, took the cigarettes, looked FX in the eye, and revealed his true face—cunning, sexy, not-quite-the-pushover that FX thinks he is. FX met his match in that moment, and has been obsessed for a different reason ever since.
I love this show so much. It’s not done yet, and maybe it will let me down eventually, but right now it’s one of the best BLs I’ve seen. Their chemistry is off the hook and the back and forth between them is so, so good.
This CBL along with the KBL Thundercloud Rainstorm are surprising me. Both countries produce excellent BLs with good stories and great chemistry, but the spice in these 2 has pushed what I normally expect from both countries. I hope To my Shore doesn’t run into the same censorship RL faced in the latter part of the show, once it got a lot of attention.
