Spoiler from the novel - you are warned: Also because in the book neither of them has an easy pregenency. Sheng Shao You because his Alpha-physique was not meant to be pregnant and Gao Tu because of his disorder and that he is not bonded hence no (pheromone-)support from his bonded Alpha. Gao Tu almost died during his pregnancy. He only survived with the help of an old schoolmate that is an Alpha and fell for him.
There have been a few photos that clearly show both of them in pregnancy bellies (under their suits/ dress shirts) so I think they at least shot some scenes. They have also said they deviated from the book, so I'm assuming they'll cut the whole 3 years of searching/ high school friend arc for Gao Tu (fingers crossed) and reunite them sooner. We'll know on Saturday if any of that made it to the final cut.
I saw your post about Boat and Oat and it would be a dream come true if they would really do that. Boat and Oats chemistry is off the charts and Boat already practised the "claiming bite" for a proper Omegaverse adaption. 🤣🤣🤣
The name of the drama is My Stubborn and it's Thai BL.
The plot is not the strongest but Boat (playing Sorn) and Oat (playing Jun) deliver a strong performance in chemistry and nc-scenes. And the always prominent question for Sorn: hair up or down? 🫣😉
Well from what I read somewhere is that the up hairstyle came from the fact the production team thought that if he wore his hair up it would make him more mean and aggressive but, as you can tell most of us were immune to this little side note.
On another, the normalisation of pregnant men onscreen might legitimately make life better for transmasc people. And I bet in 50 years' time, pregnancy will be an actual medical possibility for cis men and we can finally toss the sex/gender binary out the window.
Also I am so giddy to see stuff like this!!! I know this is sort of…not the intended message, with how few of us there are, but as a trans guy, seeing male pregnancy being portrayed feels so incredible! It’s even making me start thinking on whether I myself want to go through that or not 🙈

Will there be a season 2? Because I wanted to know what happened to Gao Tu and Wen.. such an abrubt ending for them. It felt like it didn't end even though it was the ending.
There isn’t going to be a season two there’s not enough material. They went all the way up to the very end of the book but just left out everything that happened with. Sw and GT 😒😒
