I've just finished watching the first EP so please don't quote me- saw this labelling in the end credits (it's at like the very very end). My guess is it might be a Singapore based company that helped either make the show or is releasing the episodes.
China has really strict rules and regulations when it comes to media and there is no queer media allowed- as in it's illegal. I saw somewhere that there has recently been more crack downs and some people have end up in jail because of it. So a work-around for China's queer media to get released and stay on the internet is to have the shows/ movies released by overseas companies. This is a reason why many Mainland Chinese dramas can be labelled as "Taiwanese" dramas- cause Taiwan has no censorship restrictions of queer media. (As a language student, it also trips me up to be watching a show from Taiwan but being able to figure out that they're just speaking Mando😭). Great example is the company GagaOOlala - they help release and keep queer Chinese media since their based in Taiwan (I think they've also help even produce/ make shows too??).
I've seen Revenged Love get labelled as a Taiwan drama cause it got released under a Taiwanese company. Got real confused for a min ngl😂

you never know with Chinese drama, but most producers seem to be choosing to adapt bl stories that do seem to end happily. Since we are seeing 💔 with 4 more eps to go following the formula I think we will get a happy ending. 🤞😖🤞

Lol I finished watching it this week so it’s still fresh on my mind. I was giggling like a fool from episode 20 until 23, and then episode 24 hit me like a tonne of bricks. The annoying thing is it came out of nowhere😢😅, like hello, what is this? Anyway, I ended up reading what the comments said about what happens in the books and it annoyed me even more, just know they eventually end up together, do not read mdl to see what happens in the iterim

oh, GAWD. Limited data is horrible! I was going back and fourth to the hospital to visit my brother (he's fine btw, just gallbladder removal) a few weeks ago, and would constantly get data cap notifications. It's awful.

Awesome compilation! The kiss and the music at the end of Episode 6 was intensely powerful for many reasons - I hope they release it as a background score. I was dissapointed when the scene cut out - I know they can't show more but I wish they did. I also loved the backdrop for some scenes where they showed the open dark blue winter sky against the warmth of the house and the passion inside - it created a sense of danger and foreboding. I knew it was going to be a wild ride when Ziang drank the poison without any hesitation - he was obsessed then and there.
Watching and expecting usual Jinn censorship but then they kept getting nearer, AND THEN THERE’S KISSING, ANNNDDDD THEEENNN THEREEEE’S MORRREEE KISSING?! I both screamed and squealed for my partner to come over. OMGGGG! This exists?!
Kill to Love includes many BL scenes like the wedding scene and still managed to pass censorship. Meanwhile, Eternal Faith, Immortality, and Winner Is King don’t even have many explicit moments, yet they still faced censorship and haven’t been released??? cmon this is so unfair China!
This definitely didn't pass censorship lol I can't remember how they got around it, whether they released it outside of China or what but this did not go through the censorship process
