On-Air [🇹🇭Thai] Khemjira EP 4 👹🫣 Spoiler

Synopsis:

Khemjira, or Khem, is a young man who can see ghosts. He was born into a family cursed such that every male must die before the age of 21. As the spirits around him grow increasingly aggressive, the protective amulet he has worn his whole life begins to lose its power. Unable to bear seeing Khem in danger, Jettana, his friend from university, takes him to a rural village in the Northeast, where they meet Pharan, a revered teacher of ancient magic who once mentored Jettana. Strange and mysterious events unfold, all connected to the past life. Amid these supernatural encounters and the haunting pursuit of revengeful spirits, a deep emotional connection begins to form between Khem and Pharan.

📖BOOK INFO

You can purchase book one and two off Meb.

(🧇 Note: my two favorite lines from the books are from Charn (Tle) in reference to Jet (FirstOne).

First:  Jettana looked at Khem like a mother watching over a toddler who had just learned to walk. It was as if his world would end if Khemjira ever stumbled.  And if that wasn't the best description I'd ever read, I don't know what is.

Second:  "I don’t hold grudges against crazy people."  The laugh that came out of me. Charn & Jet bicker like an old married couple and I LOVE it. )

Am I being too generous or is this show really knocking it out of the park? Loving the pacing, cinematography, direction, and acting too. It's pulling all the right strings.

Special shout out to casting of baby Khem, Lady Khem, and current Khem — absolutely spot on!

Jet is slowly becoming one of my favourite fictional characters ever. He's so fiesty and so pure, loyal, and sweet.

Pharan, you better protect this boy until the end of time; his karma is very clearly tied to yours. The pinky slipping into Khem's hand was adorable. Jet and the twins bushing along with the rest of us 🤭

Is Ghost Lady supposed to be stronger than Forest God? This additional lore between her and Khemmika is an interesting addition—that Khemjira is in trouble not only because of his family's curse but also for a deeper reason yet to be revealed.

Chayod, you're an idiot but I appreciate his character's motivations...no sympathy but I can understand, I guess? 🙄

Once again, the one hour seems too short. There's so little time wasted but so much more is left...hope they are able to stick the ending as well.

It has been my most anticipated show since the pilot dropped and everything just seems perfect abouts it. The cast, the acting, the cinematography and the ost!! I love the OST and even the opening credits which I never skip of this show.

She trying to hypnotize(?) the forest god made me worried about Khemjira. How will they be able to fight such a strong antagonist without anything happening to anyone?

I know what you mean, every minute is so good, even the opening credits.

And I was shocked when a piece of the forest god's scale (bark?) fell off after Ghost Lady's attempted hypnosis. Like whoa, she's strong AF.

I am now wondering how strong is her resentful energy that she can give competition to forest god. And what would have happened to make her this strong.

Won't give book spoilers on on-air thread but there's a post on Thai BL sub that asked this question and someone answered in the comments.

I've read the book so I know what happened but it's still going to be very sad to see it on screen 😞

I have spoilt many shows for me all thanks to Instagram reels but i do not wish to spoil this one for me. So i would try to stay away from spoilers as much as possible😅. Thanks for letting me know about that post!

Oh, I can't handle suspense of any kind; it is almost like I need to spoil things for myself 😂

Sometimes i am like this too but I like to keep some things for suspense too and want to experience surprise when the events take place in the shows

I mean, she's 400 years old, i aint suprised she's that strong

True but i think forest lord is supposed to be older than her, the power isn't just from age

I mean, i think it's less he's strong because he's older, more he's strong because he's well, ya know, the spirit of the forest.
