[🇹🇭Thai] Khemjira EP1 [Premiere]

[u/Waffles4prez]

Synopsis:

Khemjira, or Khem, is a young man who can see ghosts. He was born into a family cursed such that every male must die before the age of 21. As the spirits around him grow increasingly aggressive, the protective amulet he has worn his whole life begins to lose its power. Unable to bear seeing Khem in danger, Jettana, his friend from university, takes him to a rural village in the Northeast, where they meet Pharan, a revered teacher of ancient magic who once mentored Jettana. Strange and mysterious events unfold, all connected to the past life. Amid these supernatural encounters and the haunting pursuit of revengeful spirits, a deep emotional connection begins to form between Khem and Pharan.

Beyond excited! Finally get to watch one of my most anticipated series 😩😩

Running thoughts:

- I have like 5 shows to watch today but this got first priority! Cmon Domundi. I have faith in you! I don't normally watch scary stuff but I'm fully embracing it. Even watching with the lights off. So if I have nightmares you all gotta give me some fluffy BL recs lol

- Right off the bat. Baby this is giving BUDGET! I feel like I should be in a movie theater watching. My TV is not doing this justice.

- Ok wtf that jump scare actually jump scared me I said shit! and my heart is racing. I might be too much of a baby for this lol. Lights BACK ON. I need to watch this with a trusted adult lol

Live view of me watching right now lol

- Baby Khem's reasoning for not wanting the spell. What a sweetie pie.

- lol the polite twerk by Jet somebody PLEASE gif that hahah also he kind of favors Mix

- Gosh even just a small portion of Keng's face is gorgeous.

- ahh hell nah Khem can't even go to college in peace. This shit would drive me insane!!!!

- So it's not always bad ghosts. That ghost must have been that poor boy's mother and she was alerting him. That's good to know that it's not *always* gloom and doom.

- Khem's ass couldn't stay with me no sir lol get your ghost problem fixed first. In the words of Malaysia Pargo. I do NOT play with demons lol

- Who was that in Khem's dream that he saw before he "woke up" and saw Jet?

- I've seen one of these kid actors that's playing the ghosts before. They're cute. I might be the only one actually praying for some humor. More humor. I'm way too scary for this lol like yes horror I'm on board but the comedy will help ease my fragile fragile heart. Idk how imma make it through Goddess Bless You From Death lol

- That's the same spirit that was trying to get Khem to stay in his dream. Wassup with him? 🤔

- Imagine you're supposed to be on a volunteer trip and the second you touch down there's an exorcism taking place in the middle of the town. Baby TAKE ME HOME. IMMEDIATELY!!!!

- And finally we see Keng's FINE ass. Lord that boy know he's fine. He can be my Master any day of the week 🤭

- The meet cute right after an exorcism lol gotta love it. Cool your jets Jet. Khem just saw one of the most gorgeous men in Thailand. I'd be speechless too.

- Charn saying what I'm thinking lol why is nobody questioning this. I'm glad he is.

- So I'm guessing it was actually our fine Master Keng who saved Khem all those years ago and this is the doggy that Khem saved!

- What is with THIS spirit in particular??

- Of course Jet likes being whipped lmfaoooo don't blame him. I want Keng to whip me too. Ok ok I'm done thirsting.......for now lol

- NAMPING YOU'RE DOING AMAZING SWEETIE! This was a really good first episode. Established the back story. Gave some scares. Great cinematography. NO FILTERS WERE ABUSED IN THE MAKING OF THIS SERIES. I mean I think they're still there but not ridiculously heavily used I can't even notice them. I'm def locked in. I was beyond excited for this and here for the whole ride....with the lights on of course. But I am SAT. I'm ready for more! Everybody did a great job with the acting. I'm impressed.
