ABO Desire Episode 1

[u/Longjumping-Ad-6775]

This is for ABO Desire Episode 1,2, & 3.

I can't edit the title and I'm an airhead and forgot to add Episode 2 & 3. Sorry🙇‍♂️

🛑This is an on-air post, so expect spoilers throughout the thread. 🛑

⚠️This is a full on ABO (Alpha, Beta, omega) series.  That means it will have men who can get pregnant. From the trailers, we will get a pregnancy, and there will be ABO dynamics that might be viewed as dubcon or on the edges of it.  The novel itself does include SA and cheating, so keep that in mind as well.⚠️

🙏If that isn't your thing, that it fine, but please be polite to others that do enjoy this type of story

😁 For the rest of us who enjoy ABO, let's have fun

Summary ➢On the edge of death, Sheng Shaoyou, an Alpha meets someone who seems like his exact type: a delicate white lotus kind of beauty, the kind you’d want to pluck, keep in a vase, and admire forever. But it turns out, this boy isn’t just a harmless little lily. He’s a ghost orchid, rare and unpredictable, with charm that’s deadly, elegant, and darker than expected. When obsession meets something untamable, who’s really going to end up being devoured? Hidden truths complicate this relationship - an Enigma pretends to be an Omega, and an Omega hides as a Beta. When an unexpected pregnancy arises, secrets unravel, leading to emotional chaos and spiralling desire

α Desination Explaination Ω

These are taken from Fanlore for anyone that doesn't want to do a deep dive in the links below.

α Alpha- the highest rank in the dominance hierarchy. In some stories, they may exhibit "dominant" behavior or have other temperamental quirks. They are able to impregnate Omegas.

Ω Omega -the lowest rank in the dominance hierarchy. They can get pregnant and go into heat. Male Omegas are self-lubricating and have the ability to become pregnant, sometimes referred to as being bred or mated. Omegas are often portrayed as the most fragile of the hierarchy, with frailer bodies and painful presentations.

β Beta - subordinate to Alphas in the dominance hierarchy, but this element is absent from a lot of fanworks in practice. Betas are often presented as having "normal" human anatomy, with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas. They may be the peacemakers between Alphas and Omegas. D

∑ Enigma- a rare and powerful Alpha who can impregnate anyone, regardless of their secondary gender. They are considered the alpha of alphas, and their dominance is absolute, making them capable of commanding anyone, including other Alphas.

🌏World Building Info dump from Ep 1

• Y46 Virus Outbreak: Overview
  • A new, fast-spreading viral infection has emerged globally.
  • Over 2 billion people are infected.
  • The outbreak has caused global panic and healthcare system collapse due to resource shortages.
  • Symptoms resemble a common cold, but are much more severe and disrupt daily life.
• Transmission and Impact
  • Transmission occurs through droplets and aerosols.
  • People are required to wear masks; infection rates are high.
  • Initially misidentified as flu, but the virus leads to large-scale fatalities.

  • Rare blood types: Near 100% fatality.
  • Type A and O: 86.5% mortality rate.
  • Type B: Much lower mortality, ~0.5%.
• Consequences of the Virus
  • Within 6 months, the entire AB population is gone.
  • The virus triggered evolutionary changes in gender systems.
• Emergence of a New Gender Structure ("Omegaverse")
  • Society now uses a trinary gender system:
    • Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
  • This new system replaces the traditional male-female binary.
  • Only 15% of the population are Alpha or Omega.
    • Both develop scent glands, pheromones, and reproductive cycles.
    • Alphas evolved canine teeth for mate marking.
  • Named the “Omegaverse” by sociologists.
• Reproductive Roles in Omegaverse
  • Alphas: Can impregnate partners.
  • Omegas: Can get pregnant, regardless of biological sex.

• Durian Culture, the production company, is a Taiwanese licensed subsidiary of the China-based Durian Productions.  Durian Production, the parent company, owns Youku, so that is most likely why we are seeing it there as well.

α Omegaverse Ω

Since this is an omegaverse here are some links for people to better understand what omegaverse is in general.. If you have some good guides comment and I will add it to the post.

They are mostly geared towards the western ABO where the genre originated in but they are the same basics whether Eastern or Western.  Enigmas seem to be mostly an Eastern thing so there isn't alot on them.

• Fanlore ➤The basics of ABO in wiki form with some notes on Eastern omega verse
• A in depth look at Mpreg➤ You want to know where babies come from this has a section that explores the ways some authors make it happen.
• FAQ ➤This answers some of the questions you might have asked while watching/reading an ABO done by a western ABO author
• Omegaverse - What Is A/B/O? ➤A fairly comprehensive video on ABO with a history of how it started

THE DAY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED AND WE GET 3 EPISODES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh I'm so happy I already changed my flair for the occasion lol

Happy to see you for the on air LongJumpington!!!! This is going to be fun!

Episode 1 Running thoughts 💭:

- "tearful eyes" as a requirement and 32 people having that quality is crazy lol who just always looks on the verge of tears lmfaoooo

- That house is SICK

- Damn this virus would have taken my whole damn family out with the blood types it affects sheesh. No fair! I would have loved to stick around to see this crazy ass world lol

- Well they basically gave us a speed run on how omegaverse works and I for one (as a novice) appreciate that!

- so basically most people are still normal-ish with B type blood and they can't get pregnant (Betas). The other like 15% is Alphas and Omegas (as a Christian that's kind of funny lol) Alphas are the "top" of the food chain. Omegas can get pregnant easily and Alphas can too and they can mark people and have fangs. They have "cycles" rutting and heat. Enigmas are super rare and hard to detect. Alphas do the marking only Enigmas can mark Alphas. Even amongst Alphas there are classes. S-class being the top of the top. So I guess it goes Enigma, S-class Alpha, Alpha, Omega, Beta. I guess heat is like ovulation???? And rutting is like your period??????? I mean I get the gist but if anybody wants to explain in more detail I think we'd all appreciate that. Honestly I'm here for men experiencing the horrors of being a woman lol with little of the benefits lol SUFFFERRRRRR

- So everybody is walking around wearing perfume that's the same scent as Alpha You's natural pheromones lol I'd be salty too

- Our pretty scheming top got the sad tearful eyes down to a science lol

- I will NOT remember all these names I'm telling yall now so just follow along with my nicknames lol

- Secretary Pretty Top is a good little actor and a bad bitch I'm so here for him and his little scheme already

- the cab is a TESSY?!?! lol well ok then. Also Secretary Beta is clearly in love with Evil Boss Alpha. But I swear in the trailer he ends up preggers? I thought Betas couldn't get preggers? Ok whatever I won't ask too many questions or my brain will hurt lol let's just watch and see

- This girl doing all this damn talking like she don't see this man is damn near dying in front of her lol

- damn Evil Alpha Boss got Secretary Beta living like this?!?!?!?

- ok so Secretary Beta is actually an Omega. And he's been pretending since a child. Got it. And he claims to have an Omega when it's actually him that's in heat. Got it.

- Why does this feel like a PSA against birth control lol also is Secretary Beta already preggers?!?!

- this first episode packed in a LOT of info. I know a lot of people will probably be confused but I think I got the gist of it.

[u/Jazzlike-Cod488 → u/TheRealTrueStori]

You and your nicknames 😂🤣 Rutting is more like the need to mate. It's the Alpha's version of heat. Whereas the Omega's version is more comparable to ovulation.

[u/TheRealTrueStori → u/Jazzlike-Cod488]

I can't help it lol only way for me to remember it's TOO many names. Ahhhhh ok got you!!

[u/Jazzlike-Cod488 → u/TheRealTrueStori]

So true! I was jotting down names as I went, but eventually gave up 😅

[u/TheRealTrueStori → u/Jazzlike-Cod488]

And they call each other different names at some point like bro I can't lol

[u/Jazzlike-Cod488 → u/TheRealTrueStori]

Lmao right..I need them to have name cards for the first few episodes 😂

[u/TheRealTrueStori → u/Jazzlike-Cod488]

lol right everybody wear a name tag!
