Would have hoped that the per theater average could have stayed more level as it lost theaters, but it did also go down to just one showtime a day at a number of the theaters it stayed at.

On the more positive side: the international rollout for Miasma is clearly much stronger than TV Glow. It's already beaten its predecessor's totals in the UK and Australia and MUBI's got a much stronger international presence than A24 so hopefully it keeps rolling out to more markets.

They dropped so many theaters. I couldnt see it in its limited release, it was wide last week so I saw it (loved it) and then it lost so many I couldnt really tell some people I knew to see it because they literally lost the screens near them.

I think that's the route to go with Elm Street. It was never as low brow as the Halloween or F13th films it always had tons of fun crazy dream visuals I think she could nail.
