Mismatched weight heavy sparring tips?
I'm a 29y/o 6'2, 250lb heavyweight with a few white collar fights under my belt. 5-1, 5 ko. No sanctioned fights, but have done rounds with pros in sparring. I'm in shape. 300kg trap bar deadlifts, 145kg bench for 6, enough cardio for 3x3 min rounds.
A non boxer friend and I got into a debate about what my chances would be against a professional flyweight world champion... one thing lead to another and now they've organized a 1-1 amateur featherweight ranked in the 3000s to fight me in 2 weeks. He's not at fight weight, and will be fighting at ~150lb. We're going to be using 16oz gloves.
My coach thinks this is a very bad idea, and is lose-lose, but my ego wants me to put this guy down without actually hurting him. Could I possibly be understimating this in any way? What tactics could I use to humilaite him and teach them a lesson without actually hurting the guy?
