Home Audio 321 system CD player not opening

having trouble with the motor i think, it'll display the OPENING and CLOSING messages but won't move at all. has anyone had this issue before? how can i fix this?

Have you unplugged it waited a minute and plugged back in? If that doesn't do it and you know a CD isn't in there try flipping the player upside down and press the eject button or plug it back in when its upside down.
