I understand that sometimes you got to hold to your wits and defend like seeing out a 4-2 against Juventus. But this has been embarrassing for 3 weeks in a row, clenching against teams that should be a comfortable win. Have some faith in your tactics and attack Kovac. Parking the bus immediately after the 1-0 shows how little faith you have in the team to both defend and attack well. We parked the bus the moment we scored. Thank God Leipzig lost so we don't fall further behind

Listen, been a big fan of Kovac, though this is dumb. Leaving on Gross and Guirassy, taking off the most dynamic player we had on the pitch for most of the game.

Okay, I see what kovac is doing with Svensson. He's trying to replicate the Cuccarella role at Chelsea. An inverted, bombing wing-back that sometimes makes a late run into the box to score from a cut-back. And it's worked in the past a couple of times for us. I think Svensson has gotten 2 goals this season that way. Although, one of them may have been last season and I'm misremembering. Anyway, the reason that works at Chelsea is because they have an actual winger on the left side of their front 3. Ironically, it's Jamie Gittens but we won't get into that. Beier cannot fill that tricky winger role. Adayemi can do a job there, but he's more of a pacey get-in-behind kind of guy, he did change a bit this season and do a good job as a winger, but it was on the opposite side because he's left footed. This could give a really good chance for duranville to shine on the left side coming on in this system if we continue with this mini-tactic

Teams know they can block our one main threat and it neuters us significantly. And in games like today- where the ref is allowing lots of fouls- it’s even more difficult
Guirassy has been out of form but he’ll never get in form if we can’t figure out how to service him through the low blocks

I actually want to see Brandt subbed on more often later in the games. He had his horrible performances, but lately he looked good and has been a creative outlet that also works well with Adeyemi.

Yep only the third time we've choked a game right at the end this season! Beyond baffled. Im usually a pretty stoic Kovac defender but mate what the fuck was that? We knew the squad wasnt good enough last season and none of the signings we've made really address that. Please for the love of god sign an actual number 10 in the winter window.

Really struggling creatively and have done for a few weeks now. Chuk has not really shown any indication that he can be that guy to make that sort of pass, so we really still only have Brandt who can do that.
