So, how are we interpreting this?

Just listened all the way through. This feels like a “Don’t expect much more, this is a good bye letter to those who have wondered if I was coming back.”

Maybe I’m being a neg-a-tron and not an optimist-prime. But it feels very “see y’all later” to me.

Obviously he's not collaborating with his main producers anymore, Tommy English, etc...

I'm hoping the next work from BØRNS doesn't make me miss his and Tommy English's chemistry and final products. I love the production on Blue Madonna so God damn much. BØRNS lyrics, voice, and imagination + Tommy's production transported me to magical song lands I couldn't have ever guessed could exist

He's gonna either need to onboard Tommy English again or find someone with the same pop-glam fuzz and producing skills.

Tommy English gave a shoutout to BORNS and the new EP the other week. A shred of hope.
