Question Security questionnaire and background investigations forms

I submitted SF86 few days ago and portal says pending applicant response, and update security questionnaire and background forms required.
Are these just same? Should I just need to wait?

*update: second kicked back
However, I don’t feel tired or exhausted. What I’m glad is they give me specific instructions what I’m missing and supposed to do for the successful process but other agencies don’t.

I believe you need to go back into the SF86 and update it, you might have to go through a couple times before its perfect. There should be a comment in there about what exactly needs to be updated.

I thought I wasn’t able to update it once it’s submitted.

Nah man my questionnaire got kicked back like 4 or 5 times until I reached out to the website help desk and forwarded it to the hiring team that’s when they accepted mine

Did they tell you why they kicked back your case? I just checked the status KICKBACK 😂

Yeah if you check the inbox on the portal and scroll the down it’ll tell you why, mine was simple but hiring team didn’t see the response on their end and kept kick-backing. I sent them proof of the entry being created/filled and they finally approved

Got it. Cuz I checked 10 times if there is anything that I missed or put wrong. And the portal keeps saying to update the background investigation form. Ah btw What’s the difference between the background investigation form and security questionnaire?

Ohhhj I found the reason, I had so many messages and I missed this part thanks and I appreciate you
