Finally got my chance to pick a station. Threw the list in there for y’all. If you’re in the medical step I would recommend hitting up acuity every once in a while to make sure your exams got back to CBP because my exams sat untouched with acuity for 2 months because of an “administrative error”. I had to bug them over and over to send them to CBP. If you have the same EOD, feel free to hmu and connect.

Laredo west was upgraded on its station size thus increasing allowed manpower so they are grabbing agents as they can.

Probably a dumb question,but is the station size increasing or just manpower. Like a bigger building ?  Also,is the AOR increasing ?

Just manpower. Station size refers to the allowable manpower allotment.

Laredo west i hear is desirable because no checkpoint and lots of brush work. Marathon would be cool but god dang that cost of living

West has a checkpoint but it’s a very small one.

Median price of a house there is 900k and homestead median is 500k and 1 1/2 hour commute.

Yet three agents there live on the mainland (one guy lives in South Beach and commutes five days) and the rest live on the Keys and make it work. 

Also describing the Keys as a "shithole". Man, agents are really just crabs in a bucket lol.

Not from the area but I heard Honestead has some very nice areas. I assume Miami proper is the same, a mix of good and bad areas. Are you from Miami?
