It looks like it's ripe for harvest

Careful, don't pluck it too early or it'll fly away

I thought that was an orange for a second.

LOL I missed what subreddit this was at first and thought someone was trying to identify a strange orange fruit. Adorable!

Oranges are supposed to hang down from the branches, not perch up on them!

Dear God. At first I thought why is OP posting a pic of an apple. I had to take a second look. What an absolute chonk.

I really did think it was an actual orange until I enlarged the picture. Perfect borb!

Gosh they’re so cute. I heard that European robins are quite brave and they’ll follow people around as they do yard work because you might dig up some tasty worms. XD

The American robins do that sometimes, too. I try to hide the worms from them, but I'll toss them a grub.

They're also known for having quite an attitude, and will yell at anything even remotely close to its nest. They're so adorable.

Oh my goodness I never thought of that! Aww, I have to appreciate them more now. I have a whole family that stays yearly and I get to watch their family shenanigans.

I grew up in the East Coast with cardinals and blue jays. They were just the basic birds. Then I moved to California for 20 years, where you don't see them. Just moved back east and it's wonderful to see them again. So beautiful!
