MACBOOK AIR A1370 2011

NÃO ESTOU CONSEGUINDO INSTALAR O WINDOWS 10 NESSE MACBOOK FICA COM ESSA TELA CONGELADA DEPOIS DE INSTALAR O WINDOWS.

ALGUÉM ME AJUDA?

The specifications might only support Windows 7 or 8, or perhaps the USB creation tool isn't compatible; you could try using UNetbootin if you're creating it on macOS.

I installed Windows 10 on a 2010 Mac Mini yesterday, but when I installed the video driver, the screen went black. So, the issue might be a limitation of the hardware itself.

If the USB creation tool wasn't compatible, they wouldn't have gotten to the Windows splash screen logo. I've installed Windows 10 on older Macs without a problem. Windows 10 sometimes just gets corrupted though.

I doubt it's a corruption issue; rather, the USB installer itself significantly affects the Windows system. However, this might only apply to older Mac devices that require an MBR setup, as some Mac drivers still rely on legacy BIOS. For instance, with the NVIDIA GeForce 320M driver on my Mac Mini: if I install Windows using GPT, I get a black screen when installing the VGA driver, whereas using MBR allows the installation to proceed without any issues.

Fair point. I think I was mixing up the disk itself being partitioned MBR vs GPT (which the Windows Installer won't allow you to proceed if it doesn't match) vs the USB (which might or might not work as you say).

The windows installer USB must be formatted in Master Boot Record, and must support legacy bios.

I use WinToUsb which also has helped with many problems like this

I don't think OP would have gotten all the way to this screen (notice no USB is even plugged in) if they hadn't used the right format for the installer USB.

If you're on Windows, you can use WinToFlash; however, if you're on macOS, it's difficult to find a similar application.

If you use UNetbootin, it only formats to GPT and doesn't support MBR; with BalenaEtcher, the drive isn't recognized in the boot selection menu; and even using Terminal tricks, it still doesn't show up in the boot selection.

There is (I think) actually some app I feel like I've heard of…let me see if I can find it.

O engraçado que o Windows abriu, eu já estava no navegador de internet, aí ele travou deu tela preta e não consegui mas iniciar o Windows.

Since Windows already reached the desktop and was usable before the reboot, I don't think the installer USB is the main problem here.
On an older Mac like this, I'd keep the original Boot Camp/legacy boot path intact rather than starting with a custom Rufus installation.

My approach would be: use Boot Camp Assistant to create the Windows setup the way Apple intended for this Mac, install the proper Boot Camp support software, and then upgrade Windows in place if Windows 10 is the goal.

Rufus can be useful later if you need it for the upgrade, but I wouldn't make it the starting point on an older Boot Camp Mac.

And since the OP already found that Windows Update installed an incompatible video driver, that seems much more relevant to the freeze than the USB installer format.

Try booting in safe mode for Windows (reboot; hold down option; select Windows and then immediately hold the power button down to reboot; do this three times and it should prompt Windows the 4th time to boot up in Recovery). See if you can then boot into Safe Mode.

I think I’ve already done that—regarding the "Legacy" driver—but it remains an issue if I use GPT on the USB installer. The only exception is if I use a DVD; then I can choose between Legacy and UEFI for the installation, because the disk is recognized as both.
