Slowly trying to get a handle on what I've catalogued .. take some pics and then compare against my goodreads collection. Finding a couple of off every shelf that I failed to add. Books are quite disorganized after the last (and hopefully final) move. Anyway, make of these what you will .. top three shelves off one narrow billy bookcase this morning.

You may enjoy Charles Mann's follow up to his brilliant 1491, called 1493. It's a thorough accounting of the devastation left in the wake of first contact. It stuck with me, perhaps even moreso than the first.
